La Vega Estate
La Vega Estate is the ideal place for an outing with friends and family alike.
Located at 726 Gran Couva Main Road, La Vega Village, Gran Couva, it is a unique combination of a garden centre, plant nursery, nature park and pool facility.
Garden Center
The Garden Centre stocks an extensive collection of plants grown in the Plant Nursery from both local sources and around the world.
They offer a diverse range of plants including ornamentals, fruit trees, herbs and vegetables, most of which are produced at the green houses at La Vega Estate.
Many of the stock plants were hand-selected by owner, Bert Manhin, who is an avid plant collector and nature lover.
Nature & Recreation Park
The Nature & Recreation Park features acres of green, scenic spaces for picnicking, playing, relaxing and enjoying the refreshing outdoors.
La Vega’s safe and comfortable “natural” environment offers the ideal location for a fun and relaxing day.
Bring your picnic basket or “make a cook”, laze away the day beneath a shady tree or a thatched hut.
Let the kids run wild in the sunshine and fresh air while you indulge in the peaceful tranquillity of rustling leaves and birdsong.
Fishing, pedal boating and nature trails are just a few of the engaging activities available at La Vega Nature Park.
Pool Facility
The Pool Facility features two fabulous pools in a peaceful and beautiful setting surrounded by nature.
With the addition of two pools equipped with lifeguards, lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, makes it the perfect get away.
You can rent a hut close to the pool if you want your own private gathering, a hut can hold up to fifteen to twenty people.
Admission to the pool is at $100TT ages thirteen and over and $75TT under thirteen with infants under two free.
This admission also allows you access to the nature park, and trails.
However, if you wish to only use to nature park the cost is up to $25TT a person.
